Closed Loop Weekly 🔌 Unplugged

Hi fam,

My second attempt at bagels was successful, I know y’all have been waiting with baited breath. I’m proud of my appropriately rounded rings and reasonable salt levels. They were lovely (and gone within hours) and I opted not to share on IG. While I may still be posting daily animation meditations on my alter art ego @hawnuhlee, I’m enjoying the calm of a quiet social page. It’s uncomfortable to remove myself from a stream of competing content, but it’s a necessity.

Showing up where and when it matters at this moment in time is up to you. For some it may be IG, a live stream, a zoom call. For me, at this unbalanced moment it’s alone in my kitchen, phone put away, and the remnants of my fridge (and no bra.) It’s counter intuitive, trying to grow a brand and cultivate community, to press pause. But a chance to reset is vital. Quality over quantity, calm out of overwhelm, actually being well instead of another email hoping it finds me well. I’m connecting with y’all here, now, showing up in the best way I can today and I appreciate every effort you’re making to show up too.

Let’s make mind + body nourishment a priority this week (and always.) I’d love to hear how you’re unplugging, send me a note <3

Herb scraps chimichurriOldie but a goodie, this use-it-up green goodness is perfect on just about everything. Make ahead of time and have it throughout the week when you’re ready to visit flavor town. I’d call it a staycation.
