🍵 🧇 Liquid rituals + raspberry waffles.
Sips for simple moments.

Hi friends,
I’m dipping my chef toes (clogs?) into the fancy drink realm–learning the intricacies of garnishes, whisking sets, and ideal acid ratios. (Always more acid.) Finding the right ways to elevate and imbibe is a needed unwind in the throes of ever present political whiplash. Sometimes, it is just nice to have a little sip.
Whether it be a grassy (I like it that way) soy matcha in the morning or an NA blackberry pomelo to set an evening vibe or even a spiked cucumber mint spritz if the mood is right. I’m finding liquid ritual a grounding practice. An accessible, something special to mark the occasion of daily life. We move through movements barely present, from one capitalistic drive to the next. The making and partaking of a slow sip is a conscious indulgence of this time. And while we may not have time or funds for anything more extravagant, we can always use an excuse to stay hydrated, right?
Here’s to marking moments–a cheers for right now.
Stay hungry,

Raspberry cinnamon spelt waffles.
What’s cooking?
I’m enjoying a new weekend waffle habit with these raspberry cinnamon spelt waffles. A slow morning treat (and refined sugar free!) that pairs well with coconut butter and cinnamon maple sunflower seed butter.
Might I recommend sipping with this date seed caffeine-free “coffee”?

We’re investing in our sustainable storage collection. As making homemade kitchen staples becomes more relevant, finding inexpensive glass containers is of utmost importance! No need to buy brand new when you can thrift, check out buy nothing groups, or hit up local restaurants for upcycled options.

I had the pleasure of joining KBOO Portland radio for their inaugural episode of Voices of Vision with hosts Charles Shambry of KBOO and Pallavi Pande, founder of plant-based dishware brand, DTOCS. We talked about sustainable practices, unexpected ingredients, and myths around plant-based eating. Check out the full episode here!
